Artist Laercio Redondo (b. 1967) and interior architect Birger Lipinski (b. 1970) are living and working in Stockholm. Their joint collaborations often take its point of departure in historical events and collective memories.
During their residency in the spring of 2011, artist Laercio Redondo and interior architect Birger Lipinski have worked artistically with Residence Botkyrka’s apartment at Krögarvägen, Fittja. Together they’ve realized a new interior design, more suitable for artistic work and public events. As a result of their process, a lot of old furniture from the apartment was replaced. The old furniture become a basis for a new sculptural work that will be recycled back into the community. The project Please, please, please, let me get what I want was shown at Fittja Open 2011.
In 2022-2023 the artist and architect duo returned to Residence Botkyrka to bring new ideas for the renovation and update of the interior of the apartment that has become a living archive for visiting artists as well as local community.
